Facebook Promoted Posts

Ok so I promised I was going to give you the results of my first Facebook "Post Promote" so you guys can see how it works..

INTRO: I decided to try the new Facebook promotion tool, mainly because I saw a lot of posts saying negative things about it, and while understand many people are looking out for their shops carefully, I thought I would have a good look at it by myself. I'd hate to turn a marketing tool down, just because other people think everything should be free.. and that I might be giving my back to further promotion of my brand. My fan page gets usually about 5-10 likes a week without me posting. But my posts are usually not commented unless some one is asking for a price or saying hello from another Facebook page or Etsy. My goal is to have more people interact with the page, sharing my pics with their friends and to get more visits. Honestly, I dont expect to bring sales from this method but more traffic... which in turn could convert but not necessarily.

A lot of times a get questions about having real pictures of my products. The ones that appear in the listings, although almost perfect, they are just renderings of the real cards look like.

Nevertheless, I always make my best effort to show them accurately as possible so that the quality stays superb!

Hang tags on their way!!

I gotta say, this is the first time I have completed an order this big :) 2,500 handmade hang tags is a very big task LOL but I'm glad that I was able to finish this order for the awesome Blossom shop. It definitely gave me the inspiration & push to come up with more options and faster process, that way I could do these orders in 3 days or less :)

Stickers are in the shop now!

So finally I found a good process to print the stickers! BElieve it or not, finding high quality stickers that can adapt to different uses and that will print extra bright colors is REALLY hard.
Im glad that I can use them now to promote the shop, because there's so many creative things that I can illustrate in them... Check them out!

Valentine's Couples II: Katniss & Peeta

So I continue the series of famous couple with a pair that seems like is going to hit it big in the movie theater this March.. they are already a sensation in the books. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend you to read these series "The Hunger Games", "Catching Fire" and "MockingJay". I haven't been so hooked in a book since Harry Potter :)

Getting inspired for Valentine's

I went back to my favorite themes, and of course my geekiness came out shining! LOL I'm preparing to list some items with these new illustrations that I got inspired to do for Valentines... not the usual stuff.. ENJOY!

Wow! 2012 already?

It has been a long time since I don't post, but that is porbably expected in order to prepare the orders for the holiday season and then the last minute items shipping away. LOL

This year I have planned for HauteCards to expand a little bit more.. a variety of products with the illustrations I love to draw and also mixing the posts up with other items that friends and colleagues do that go very well with the style that brands my shop :)

So hold tight! THis year the posts should be should come more often a full of fun stuff to explore and buy!
