Hang tags on their way!!

I gotta say, this is the first time I have completed an order this big :) 2,500 handmade hang tags is a very big task LOL but I'm glad that I was able to finish this order for the awesome Blossom shop. It definitely gave me the inspiration & push to come up with more options and faster process, that way I could do these orders in 3 days or less :)

Stickers are in the shop now!

So finally I found a good process to print the stickers! BElieve it or not, finding high quality stickers that can adapt to different uses and that will print extra bright colors is REALLY hard.
Im glad that I can use them now to promote the shop, because there's so many creative things that I can illustrate in them... Check them out!

Valentine's Couples II: Katniss & Peeta

So I continue the series of famous couple with a pair that seems like is going to hit it big in the movie theater this March.. they are already a sensation in the books. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend you to read these series "The Hunger Games", "Catching Fire" and "MockingJay". I haven't been so hooked in a book since Harry Potter :)

Getting inspired for Valentine's

I went back to my favorite themes, and of course my geekiness came out shining! LOL I'm preparing to list some items with these new illustrations that I got inspired to do for Valentines... not the usual stuff.. ENJOY!

Wow! 2012 already?

It has been a long time since I don't post, but that is porbably expected in order to prepare the orders for the holiday season and then the last minute items shipping away. LOL

This year I have planned for HauteCards to expand a little bit more.. a variety of products with the illustrations I love to draw and also mixing the posts up with other items that friends and colleagues do that go very well with the style that brands my shop :)

So hold tight! THis year the posts should be should come more often a full of fun stuff to explore and buy!

Take notes in school with style...

It's really important to take notes when following a lesson on a textbook or really thick handouts.. :) Make it easy to mark your notes by using a post-it notepad like this one. Paste them on each page that you want to write tips about and leave a little lip hanging out from the edge of the page, so you can come back to it later.

That way you don't mark your books with high-lighters or writings that will damage them, and you will be able to sell them or lend them with ease.

Another tip: once you are done with the notes you can archive them for a future quiz if you re-post them on your 3 ring binder for that subject. Make sure you put the date on the right top corner to keep them in order :)
